Richard began his career in the financial services industry in 1968. After 16 years he decided to take his career, and the service level he was providing to his clients, to the next level. Richard founded Martin Financial Group in 1984 with the goal of building a successful firm around a client-centered model and the motto of providing “Service that Excels.”

Though he probably had no idea of just how successful Martin Financial Group would become, he always knew that treating people fairly and doing the right thing for the client would pay dividends in the long run. That client-centered model, coupled with the “Service that Excels” motto and the “do the right thing” mindset did indeed pay dividends for Richard and all of the representatives at Martin Financial Group.

After 40 years in the financial services industry, regardless of the success he has experienced from running Martin Financial Group, Richard still receives his greatest joy from helping his clients with all of their financial services issues.

When not helping his clients, or assisting one of the many successful representatives at Martin Financial Group with their practice, Richard can be found playing the occasional round of golf.
