Dax has a strong desire to help individuals, families & businesses work towards achieving their financial goals. Dax joined Martin Financial Group in 2004 because of the firm's ability to provide him with outstanding resources and support, as well as an enjoyable work atmosphere.

Dax grew up in North Texas and then attended Murray State University on a golf scholarship. After receiving his Bachelor's degree at Murray State, he continued his education by obtaining his Doctorate in Jurisprudence at the Texas Tech University School of Law. Upon his graduation from law school, and successfully passing the Texas Bar Exam, Dax accepted a position as a criminal prosecutor at the Dallas County District Attorney’s office. It was his time in the District Attorney's office elite Specialized Crime Division prosecuting white collar cases, and prosecuting securities fraud cases specifically, that led Dax to change his career path and enter the financial services industry.

Dax has Series 7, 24 & 66 registrations as well as his Texas Life, Accident & Health license. Separate from his work at Martin Financial Group, Dax is also licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.

Dax lives in Southlake with his wife Stephanie and their two children Ty and Sydney.  When not helping clients, Dax can be found watching his kids play: basketball, soccer, football or competing in track.
